Abstract Dreams by Daniel Ambrosi represents the next step in the evolution of his Dreamscapes project. This collection of mesmerizing limited edition video loops produced specifically for the MORF ArtStick™ further dissociates the generated artwork from the underlying photography and toward the subconscious.   Each video zooms and blends between a trilogy of abstract artworks, all of which are based on photographic details curated from a full scene Dreamscape depicting a specific real-world location. The artworks themselves begin with photographs which have been interpreted or “dreamed” by Ambrosi’s enhanced version of DeepDream. These dreamed photos are then abstractified via a variety of image filters before being subjected to a second pass of dreaming. Finally, the three Abstract Dreams are superimposed and animated using motion graphics software.
